JET SKI RENTALS FAQ

How old do you have to be to drive or ride as a passenger?

We require all drivers to be at least 21 years old and passengers can be as low as 5 years old. All drivers must have a valid driver's license or State ID on them while operating the ski.

How many people can ride a ski?

Our jet skis are made to seat 3 people comfortably but we do require that the total passenger weight be less than 425 lbs.

Where am I allowed to ride the ski?

At nearly 10 miles wide, our riding area extends 5 miles in all directions from the Lorain Breakwall. Riders are required to remain at least 300 feet away from the shoreline at all times.

Am I allowed to switch out passengers?

Riders are not allowed to take the ski to other areas to unload/load passengers. You also may not "come back in" to switch out riders.

How much weight is allowed per ski?

We limit the total rider weight for each ski to 425lbs.

Do we need to bring our own life vests?

We will provide you with a life vest. We have vests that will fit all ages and sizes.

What is the 10 question test that I have to pass?

The State of Ohio and our commercial insurance provider requires us to give all rental clients a 10 question test and basic knowledge checklist. Prior to the test we do a group lesson that goes over all the information you need to know to safely operate the jet ski and pass the test.
